Louise & Kostas

It was an intimate wedding. The blue of the Cyclades was everywhere! French lovers in Greece, who lived every moment of their ceremony. From those very first steps of preparation until the finale of the party, there were smiling faces everywhere!  Louise and Kostas contacted us one year prior and expressed their desire to marry on an island in the Cyclades.

La fete launched themselves into their research and presented various proposals from Syros, Tinos, and Paros. Paros won! So we started all of the necessary preparations to make it a perfect experience! Our main theme was the blue of the Cyclades, the Greek sky, and the Greek sea! The invitation was designed by a French artist friend. The decoration that Louise and Kostas chose was completely minimal. Large glass bottles in blue with blue & white string tied around them. Blue glass jars filled with baby’s breath bouquets were the centrepieces for the tables.

The favours we designed had the necessary Greek element. Bottles of Greek olive oil (produced by the groom) with a blue thank you card. The sugared almonds were placed in glasses in little bags in the candy bar. The menu was comprised of exclusively Greek dishes! Octopus with vinegar, eggplant salad, stuffed squid, moussaka, local lamb with potatoes, sweet pastries. Wine was chosen, of course, from the Parian winery of Moraitis. Loud Lemon prepared cocktails for the tables, meanwhile traditional Souma was plentiful until the end of the evening.

The weekend started with a cocktail party at Sommaripa in Naoussa. The next day, Louise and Kostas prepared two seaside villas in Kolimbithres. The Catholic Ceremony was held in Naoussa in the picturesque little church at the harbour. The ceremony took place in French and in Greek and touched the attendees. Once completed, a boat awaited the guests to take them to the pier on Monastery Beach. The Orthodox ceremony took place at dusk, in the open air of Agios Ioannis Detis. An amazing spot with a unique view.

The musicians accompanied the couple and their guests with the sounds of the island. The champagne welcome drink was received on the beach where the couple took their place. The guests didn’t hesitate in kicking their shoes off and dancing barefoot in the sand! The evening opened with a projection of photos and videos organised by the couple's friends and it continued with an abundance of dancing until the early morning hours!

Louise and Kosta, thank you for blindly putting your trust in us! Our meetings have been both enjoyable and stress-free and the result; wonderful and creative! You are a beautiful couple, you know exactly what you want, and you deserve it and even more!

You were just impeccable!
