We couldn’t have been happier to be part of Mick and Yazz’s destination wedding on the idyllic island of Paros! Mick and Yazz‘s destination wedding was an intimate and symbolic wedding celebration with a minimal Greek chic island concept. 

Paros island made the ideal wedding venue with its postcard-worthy views providing a picturesque wedding backdrop. For Mick and Yazz, Paros was the perfect island destination for their intimate wedding. The island’s sea, beaches and sunny skies mixed with family and great friends were the perfect ingredients for a magical and memorable wedding ceremony. 

The celebration stayed true to its destination wedding theme of minimal Greek chic island with airplane ticket invitations and a detailed wedding website providing all the crucial information, along with fun activities, for the 50 guests arriving from Australia. All wedding stationary and web design was designed in-house by la fete graphic designers.

La fete also provided beauty concierge services for the wedding. Making sure that all the beauty needs for the bride and groom along with their bridesmaids and groomsmen were taken care of in a seamless and stress-free manner.

Mick and Yazz opted for a pastel wedding color palette of coral, white and blue that embraced the island’s stunning surroundings. The groom and groomsmen wore white flip flops, white shorts and blue dress shirts donned with eucalyptus wedding boutonnières. The bride wore a breathtaking wedding gown of white lace and tulle, while the bridesmaids wore coral gowns with bouquets of baby's breath. The bride chose chic white roses combined with eucalyptus and baby's breath for an elegant bridal bouquet. 

La fete worked with Mick and Yazz to create a logo for unique, personalized wedding favors for their guests. Guests were provided the perfect shade for the sunny Greek island skies with lovely, white Rayban-style wedding sunglasses. Guests also received personalized mason jars with chalkboard drink labels for  their wedding welcome cocktail. The couple also gave their groomsmen a lovely gift of personalized leather-bound wedding flasks.

The symbolic wedding ceremony took place on Golden Beach under a unique, customized arch decorated with amazing white hydrangeas, olive branches and eucalyptus greenery that contrasted perfectly with clear Greek blue skies. The intimate wedding ceremony was kept minimal with all-white folding chairs arranged to face the Greek Aegean Sea with an aisle down the middle. To add to the beach atmosphere and to keep guests cool, palm fans were placed on chairs for the wedding ceremony. La fete made sure that the event was authentically Mick and Yazz’ and that every detail of their wedding vision was kept minimal to celebrate the amazing coastline and to allow the natural beauty to take center stage. 

After the ceremony, guests were welcomed to a stunning seaside reception where they were welcomed with a sunset cocktail at the open bar. The Golden Beach venue was  decorated with Greek island chic style that matched the natural landscape of Paros. The centerpieces were simple and chic with a tulle, seashells, bottled fairy lights, and small bottles of ouzo. The stunning wedding cake was decorated in locally sourced, textural florals matching the bride’s wedding bouquet adding to the mediterranean ambience. Guests relished the traditional Greek buffet and an open bar while enjoying breathtaking views from the waters edge at this festive event. 

The beachfront reception location also proved to be the ideal venue for a wild dance party led by the DJ playing songs from Mick and Yazz’s favorite artists. Guests danced the night away celebrating the momentous event.  It was genuinely an unforgettable evening of celebration for an amazing couple and their guests.

Mick and Yazz’s wedding was truly a celebration of a lifetime! The amazing photos captured by Nektarios Maniatis will always help Mick and Yazz remember one of the most important days of their lives!
