Marianna & Giannis

Marianna and Giannis were a much welcomed break in winter's calm. We are not used to having winter wedding requests. Usually we are still recovering from all of our summer projects! But knowing the couple we immediately said YES!

Our theme was red and very wintery. Pink velvet, red berries and red flowers! The wedding favours we chose were small succulents in ceramic pots, a fragile touch of paper wrapped the sugared almonds and it was all tied with a red velvet ribbon.

Blossoms of red, burgundy, and plum coloured flowers accompanied the green foliage. The ceremony was conducted in the picturesque church of Agia(St.) Sofia. Marianna arrived with her groom Giannis and the baby still in mummy's tummy! Their guests awaited them in the pedestrianised street of Dionysiou Areopagitou and marched together to the church. There, followed a relaxed and essential ceremony with the flower girls embellishing the scene beautifully! The party continued in the Eleon Loft, in the center of Athens. The tables were fitted with mirrors on which sat vintage vases with warm red floral arrangements. Menus and the favours also awaited the guests at their seats.

The cake followed the wedding concept. Vivid red roses and golden strokes adorned it while a red velvet cake was selected for its interior. It was placed on tree trunks to add to the wintery theme.The customised photo booth with fun props attracted guests from the very beginning, running to be photographed inside the frame!
