Deep love and emotions of happiness could totally describe the wedding of Gabrielle & Alex on Sifnos island, Greece! The couple lives in the USA, but Alex’s family has the luck to originate from the beautiful island of Sifnos. Based on that, it was of great importance for the young couple to get married on the island, giving the opportunity to their guests to live this amazing experience.

The weather conditions on the wedding day were ideal for a summer party near the sea. Sunny windless day and crystal clear blue sea helped the scenery to look extra magical!

Alex, the groom, had the opportunity to enjoy his preparations in the family house, along with the best men and his Greek-American lovely family. The sea view from the balcony of the house was truly breathtaking! A duo of traditional musicians, Greek tsipouro and authentic local treats helped the party mood to get started.

On the other hand, Gabrielle, the bride, enjoyed her preparations in a hotel close to the property of her future husband! Floral robes for all the bridesmaids, bottles of champagne and true emotions of happiness made the atmosphere absolutely festive. Bride’s mum was truly touched by looking her daughter turned into a wonderful bride!

We really can’t find the perfect words to describe the scenery as well, when Alex looked Gabrielle as a bride for the first time!

In the meantime, the La fete team was supervising the preparations at Lazarou beach restaurant, in order for everything to be settled for the big event! The wooden seaside deck of the venue hosted the ceremony. A romantic arch with two bouquets of greenery and white flowers, string lights and two parts with chairs were setted up for the ceremony.

Alex arrived first at the venue and he walked down the aisle after his grandmother (Yiayia in Greek) and his parents. Best men and bridesmaids were followed through the aisle, with bright smiles on their faces. Some minutes later, Gabrielle arrived via boat accompanied by her lovely mother. Love was pervasive in the atmosphere! Bride & groom didn’t stop to look each other in the eyes! Family and friends showered them with rice and extra love!

The deep blue of Aegean sea made the perfect backdrop for the lens of the photographer, Antonis Kekidakis and the camera of the videographer Jim Grillas!

Ceramic shots made in Sifnos, were waiting for the guests to take a ‘tsipouro’ shot and take their seats! Lazarou beach restaurant prepared a great dinner with authentic Greek tastes. Long tables adorned with romantic bouquets in green-white tones. The dinner was interrupted by some great emotional toasts from the couple's beloved ones.

A wedding cake, which was decorated with olive leaves, helped the common life of Gabrielle & Alex to start with sweetness! It was for sure that an amazing dance party would follow till very late at night. A firework show absolutely took off the party and along with the first dance of the couple were some of the highlights of that night!
